STKO 105 is a fine alumino silicate refractory flour, designed for use in the primary slurry coat where smooth surface finish and high detail replication are essential. With a particle size distribution centered around 105 microns (about U.S. #140 mesh), this flour fills in microvoids and contours to deliver sharp, clean castings. It is particularly well suited for use with colloidal silica binder systems and provides excellent stability during drying and firing. STKO 105’s controlled particle shape and low impurity levels reduce the risk of inclusions or surface defects, making it ideal for aerospace, medical, and precision industrial castings. The flour's high refractoriness also ensures thermal reliability during molten metal contact, while its consistency supports dependable slurry performance across production cycles.
