STKO 60 is engineered for applications that require even greater shell reinforcement, featuring a coarser particle profile that surpasses STKO 50 in size. With its particles primarily falling within a range that exceeds the U.S. #16 sieve (often estimated around 1000–1600 microns), it is especially suited for applications where robust stucco layers and heavy backup shells are critical. Its consistent, angular grains provide outstanding slurry adhesion and help to maintain a uniform shell build with minimal fines. STKO 60 integrates seamlessly with both colloidal silica and ethyl silicate binder systems, supporting high-temperature pours and repeated thermal cycling.
