About Westech Direct
Founded over 40 years ago, Westech began manufacturing wax products for the precision investment casting industry. As we discovered how difficult it was becoming for PIC teams to obtain their supplies – and to get the answers they need – we realized we needed to focus solely on helping investment casters. So in 2024 we made our investment casting team independent and dedicated to one thing: being the most friendly, reliable, knowledgeable source of casting products. Meantime, our now sister company, Westech Wax, is focused solely on wax manufacturing.
Trusted by businesses large & small, we have worked with multi-billion dollar corporations, the world’s top alcohol companies, many aerospace companies, several launch companies, premier engine manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and more. However, our roots are in investment casting, and PIC is where Westech Direct will stay. We’re here to provide casting supplies–and the answers–that investment casters need.
Westech Direct’s sister company, Westech Wax, is a manufacturer of premium wax products, providing container load or larger orders of casting wax, custom wax products, and non-casting waxes. As an ISO-certified designer and manufacturer of custom wax blends, our manufacturing arm creates not only the best casting waxes, but also specialty waxes such as candle wax, bottling wax, bat wax, ski wax, soap and detergent waxes. Our PIC waxes — filled and non-filled pattern waxes, utility waxes, and water-soluble waxes — are then distributed here, through Westech Direct.
