LE Additive

LE Additive is a polymer, high-quality slurry additive for precision investment casting use.

Designed to improve green strength and dimensional stability, LE Additive enhances ceramic shell performance throughout the shell building process—especially during handling, dewaxing, and early-stage drying. It strengthens the shell before firing, helping prevent cracking, sagging, or deformation, and is particularly useful when working with delicate or thin-walled patterns created through additive manufacturing (AM) methods like SLA or resin 3D printing.

LE Additive supports tight dimensional control, even in complex molds, and helps reduce casting defects such as inclusions, distortion, and shell failure. It is fully compatible with common binder systems and refractory materials, integrating easily into both primary and backup slurries. With clean burnout characteristics and reliable shell behavior under thermal stress, foundries rely on LE Additive to increase casting yield, reduce rework, and maintain shell integrity—even under demanding production timelines.
